Subject: Good Things Are Worth Waiting For
I don't know why I waited so long to digitize my tape collection. But I had to start with this show, because I had such a GREAT time, and it brought back some fond memories of John and Nick. In those days, the San Francisco music scene was flourishing, and a good show was to be had practically every weekend. The Grant Street Saloon was another great little venue (and it's still there, to my knowledge) to see JC play. I've got many AUD and SBD masters of JC with the Dinos, Melton, Terry & Pirates, Zero, etc, so I'll get them on here. Stay tuned!

Subject: ENJOY!!!!
i've had a copy of this recording since about 2 weeks after seeing them at the ChiChi. a small unique place with a horseshoe bar facing the stage. located on Broadway with the Stone up the street, and Mabuhay Gardens across the street and so many strip joints to name in between, it was always a "creative" atmosphere. the shows never seemed to be too packed, which in itself was a shame for the talent this band brought thru this area numerous times, but at the same time, to those of us lucky to be there...how sweet can that be? The drive up to SF from Half Moon Bay (across Devil's Slide on Hwy. 1) was just the beginning of the party.
there was always a contingency of us coastsiders who made this trek when ever they played, and they never failed to please.
Excellent Aud tape...Excellent performance and J.C., J.C., J.C.!!!
it's nice to know that God has his own guitar God now, to entertain him. we sure enjoyed him while he was here. thanks for gettin this on here (i've been patiently waiting for these to start appearing on the archives).
